In an x11 environment, the manjaro-asian-input-support package will enable Japanese input in many applications.
However, in a wayland environment, manjaro-asian-input-support is not necessary. For example, uninstalling the manjaro-asian-input-support package will enable Japanese input using fcitx5-mozc in many applications.
