Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I have created a repo https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/udev-usb-sync and a package https://gitlab.manjaro.org/packages/extra/udev-usb-sync
I am thinking we could add it to the iso-profiles and with that addition we would serve the end-users better as a write to a slow removable USB stick no longer will appear done when it is actually still being written.
The Linux file cache is doing it's job but users may be impatient or does not know how the kernel cache works - thus yanking the stick before the data has been fully written - and in the end causing data corruption on the stick.
This utility is not bulletproof but it will provide some protection against this.
The package has been rebuild and released to all repos at v.1.0
