I am using Firefox (version 108.0 at the moment) on Manjaro with XFCE graphical environment.

All Firefox profile settings and config (including privacy enforced setup) are regularly and unpromptedly reverted to default after an update (or sometimes even without any update).

The Firefox account sync (including only bookmarks in my case) is disabled, private browsing is disabled, other enhanced tracking protection settings are reset to standard (less strict that what I use), telemetry/data collection is re-enabled (whereas I disabled it), https-only mode is disabled, etc.

Sometimes, even the add-ons that I use do not work anymore.

All of that without telling me and without my consent. Therefore, I have to recreate and reconfigure my Firefox profile every once in a while which is annoying.

I encounter this problem with the different Firefox profile that I have (with different level of privacy enforcing settings).

I never encountered such problem in the past before switching from another Linux distrib to Manjaro.
