Hello.
Running Gnome 42.3 on Manjaro. Recently installed update manjaro-gnome-settings 20220811-1, which also installs dependencies adw-gtk-theme and adw-gtk3. Now all non gtk4 apps are blurry on Wayland (not present on X11). Removing manjaro-gnome-settings (but leaving adw-gtk-theme and adw-gtk3) resolves the issue.
Happy to provide more info if needed.
what scaling you have set?
What version of
manjaro-gnome-settingsdid you have installed previously? There was only a minor, unrelated change with 20220811-1. The dependencies haven't been changed for months.Hello. I have same issue on 4k display with 200% scaling in "Display settings" and 1.25 scale factor for fonts in Gnome tweaks → Fonts.

At first, system freezes on Pamac's post-transaction proccess (2/4). After hard reboot xWayland apps blurry and tray icons (using AppIndicator extension) bigger than they should and blurry.
Here is current version (20220606-1), which works fine and broken one (20220811-1) for me.
what happens if you don't scale the font? the screen at 200% should already do that for you.
Oh, that is quite interesting: I can scale 250% (I need this scale aсtually) in display settings now. For a some time ago this options wasn't available.
EDIT: that thing was change, fractional scaling released in this update. It is not minor actually!
But this doesn't help, here is how my Telegram looks:
This is Electron App, blurry as well:
Here is how looks attemp to work with Flameshot, before update it has taken all screen, for now just a part of it:
Scale at 200% doesn't remove the blur.
Ok, what i figured out with 2160p and 1080p displays.
If you will make any non-100% scale (125-150-200-250%) in Display Settings, it makes xWayland apps blurry. If you will make same thing in Gnome tweaks → Fonts, there is no blur, but some elements doesn't scale.
So, I'm scaling 1080p display with fonts for now, not with display settings. That way it works. For 2160p it is not a way: some elements too small to work with.
Ubuntu 22.04 is giving you a choice: using fractional scaling or not. It is a long story for blurry xWayland, so it is behaves same way for today, as I see.
Maybe same choice should be in Manjaro settings?
I've reverted the change and will push an updated settings package here soon. Run the following command or use dconf Editor to revert the setting:
That is helpful, thank you!
