Writing to these files could have negative outcomes since Manjaro already
allows the user to select nonfree/free drivers upon installation, and the
graphical hw manager doesn't override X anyway

I really dont understand why there is no notification email for this 👎

However. that functionality - is it really from no use? I mean we dont use it in the free drivers, but what about the non-free configurations? Thats an area I dont interact with.

@CertifiedBlyndGuy we call this function when needed via our profiles. A removal is not needed. Only if none of our profiles don't need it anymore. Which profiles have conflicts?

The nonfree Nvidia drivers with prime. They aren't even functional anymore, and under KWin at least, the X configuration isn't loaded for the nonfree cards. When trying to install them, it looks for files that aren't even provided leaving a half broken install behind. So it is to my understanding that we don't need this however if I'm wrong then please let me know. Thanks for getting around to this @philmmanjaro
